- How do I know if apps are slowing my store?
- Run our free website check. It shows your mobile speed and how many third-party script hosts load on your homepage. A high count is a common sign that apps are adding weight.
- Will removing apps break my store?
- Not if it is planned. We list what each app does, test changes on a preview theme first, and remove leftover code only after the replacement is working.
- What are theme app extensions?
- They are Shopify's way for apps to add features to your theme without editing theme code. They are easier to remove cleanly and often load less on every page.
